Canada has been one of the most desirable countries for immigrants globally, and the Express Entry is an effective tool for prospective skilled workers interested in obtaining PR status. This blog post puts together key findings from the most recent draw and relevant tips on Canadian PR legitimacy, extension, and admissibility.

Analysis of the Latest Express Entry Draw
The most recent draw for the Express Entry system was the first for the month of June 2024 and yet, the first one in three weeks. Due to this break, candidates have had to wait longer than the conventional two weeks for the series to resume and this has led to frustration. The draw, dedicated to the PNP, set a CRS score of 663, which is much lower than in previous years and shows that candidates with PN nominations have an easier path.
Since a provincial nomination gives a candidate 600 points in the CRS, those invited had probably 63 points, at most, from other factors. This draw demonstrates the benefits of obtaining a provincial nomination and the possibility of CRS scores being lower in upcoming draws targeting PNP streams.
